Loans Saint John publishes information and one referral link, nothing else. It is not a lender or a broker, it keeps no office in Saint John or anywhere else, and nothing on it is advice about your money or your legal position.
Information, not advice
These pages describe how payday and installment loans work under New Brunswick and federal law and where the legal limits sit; they cannot weigh your situation. Your deposits, your rent and the size of a February power bill in an older flat running on electric baseboards are invisible to a web page, so no page here can tell you to borrow, how much or from whom.
Legal advice is not offered either. A question about a lender's conduct or your rights under the Cost of Credit Disclosure and Payday Loans Act belongs with FCNB or a lawyer. A non-profit credit counsellor can look at the whole picture without charge, and the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada publishes plain guidance on payday loans and their alternatives.

Where the figures come from
Every dollar figure on the site is a New Brunswick legal ceiling or an example worked at that ceiling, never a quote. The $14 per $100 cap, the $1500 maximum, the 62 day limit, the 30% of net pay rule, the 48 hour cancellation right and the default caps of 2.5% a month plus $20 per dishonoured payment come from the Cost of Credit Disclosure and Payday Loans Act and the Payday Lending Regulation; the 35% ceiling on installment lending comes from section 347 of the Criminal Code. A lender may charge less than a cap, and the written agreement it hands you is the number that binds.
Local detail stays descriptive. The hospitals, the port, the university and college campuses and the bus routes get named; lenders, street addresses and statistics we cannot source never do.

The lender decides
Approval, amount, fee or APR, repayment date and every other term belong to the licensed lender, not to this site, and no lender can commit to an outcome before reading your income. Nothing here means an offer will come. Before signing, confirm the agreement names the lender, states the full cost in dollars, says in writing that a payday loan is a high cost loan, puts repayment on your next pay date and comes with the cancellation form the law requires. After you sign, the agreement governs, not any sentence on this site.
Rules and rates move
Statutes, caps and lender pricing can all change after a page is written, and a page can lag behind them. Pages are reviewed against the statute and against what FCNB publishes, but no assurance is given that a figure here matches a lender's latest agreement, or that this site, the platform or a lender is reachable the moment you need them. Liability limits live in the terms of use, and the referral disclosure explains how the site is paid.
